At this level gymnasts have refined, solid basics and a repertoire of more complex skills. Front limbers, front walkovers, and front handsprings are worked on Floor, as well as back limbers, back walkovers, back handsprings. Handstands, cartwheels, and leaps on high beam are worked. Vaults now land on the feet such as front handsprings onto a resi, and we begin to practice vaulting over the table trainer. Strong glides, glide kips, front hip circles, long hang pullovers and long hang kips, as well as high bar dismounts are practiced.
At this level gymnasts have developed solid basics as well as complex skills. Tumbling passes such as round-off back handsprings develop, and we begin to drill and practice saltos. At balance beam, connected acro skills are practiced as well as difficult skills such as walkovers or handsprings. Salto dismounts or other dismounts with amplitude will be practiced. We work dynamic handspring vaults, front tuck to feet from springboard, and more difficult vaults as gymnast is ready. At bars, gymnasts work glide kips, under swings connected to dynamic tap swings, and develop stronger casts.
Monthly Billing: Tuition for reach class is $27. On the 1st of each month, you will be charged for all of the classes your child will take in that month. Since tuition is calculated per class, your bill may show a different price each month due to the number of class days in that particular month. There are no contracts or annual fees.
Make-Up Policy: If a student is absent for an Advanced class, they can sign-up for a make-up class. Bounce will accommodate ONE missed class per month. If your child misses multiple classes in one month, they will only receive one make-up class. Students will be grouped by age and ability and led by a coach. Make-up classes will be once a month alternating between Saturdays and Sundays.
Ending Enrollments: If you decide to end your child's enrollment, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org two weeks before the first of the month that you do not want top participate in.
